    I have never messed with moving the spring perches on a diff...
    I want to get it done so i can go on the snow run...

    I have the welder I just need someone with some expierence ....but I have to de-flate my tires and put a few people in my truck to get it in the garage...I dont have the 60 yet but I do have the 14 bff sittin in my garage I want to check the brakes ans stuff before i put it in. I want to do it in the next couple weeks, I just need to come up with the money for the new u-bolts and spring plates... I live off of 88th and Colorado BLVD.

    There is a bunch of other stuff you will need too. I am assuming the rear end you are using is from a 1 ton. If it is, you will need to move the shock mounts too. You will probably need brake lines for the front, at least a conversion (1310-1350) u-joint and will need to figure something out for the e-brake cable too. Search on here, you can probably find everything you need. Alex (WRENCH-HEAD) lives really close to my parents so we might be able to head over there and both help you.

    Actually, I'm pretty sure the FF14 bolt under my truck is from a 1 ton and I never moved the perches. At the time, I didn't realize that the perches were different and I haven't ever really had any problems. The springs don't look pushed in either, so that might be an option for you.

    It is from a 1-ton, I measured the perches a when i got it, I dont remember the measurements but i do remember they are different....I wil get the conversion joint from the guy that built my rear CV shaft(Rocky Mtn. Driveline) Do you have any pics of your conversion?
