Well, now that the thing is in, I need to wire the reverse lights and neutral saftey switch to it. I have everything ready. the question is, how the heck do I know what is what in the column? I have no idea what I'm looking for. Can anyone give me an idea as to what I'm looking for?

    Billybob,

The neutral safety/back up switch switch is a seperate switch on the column. It is "half Moon" shapped. My book shows four wires....Dk Blue and Light Green for the back up portion with yellow and purple for the neutral.

as for the neutral safety, there should be two purple wires. One of them has a white stripe. These are the two wires that need to go through your new switch that came with your shifter.
