of fender triming /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif Also like to know what size tire your running
check out my webshots... 4" and 36" at the time it has a 2" body on it now. and with my [darn] procomp springs they didnt rub badly.
I have 6" suspension, 2" body, and about 6" worth of fendertrimming behind the front tire to fit 38" TSL Radials.
Here's a pic and a link:
And a Zero rate up front.
Thanks for the info /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif, is there no other suburbans that have been lifted and trimmed? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I'm getting ready to/forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif mine so I can run 36" on 5" lift and intergrated slider /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif
I'm in the same boat you are.
I'm going to trim soon, but have been hard pressed to find any pics other than really chopped up ones, nothing clean.
The front isn't a big deal, I'll just do mine the same as a K5 but the rear is gonna be tricky to do and make it look decent. /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif
Here is a picture of my Suburban with 8" lift and 36" tires. I do not have the fenders cut at all. There has been a time or two that the tire has hit it but nothing more then bending the lip of the fender.
You probably won't have to trim the rear any. I'm running the 38's with no rear trimming.
