Well we drove my dad's 97 silverado from northern california to central utah for visiting and hunting. Well while on a trail looking for elk we had to turn around and the power steering went out when backing up off an incline. It is turnable but it is hard as hell. The power steering fliud was low so we filled it, no change. So we jacked it up and turned the wheel back and forth for a while and still no difference. Anyone have any suggestions? How long should we keep it jacked up and be turning the wheel? The road is calling you.......ignore it!
