Does anyone know a good shop some where near PT. Pleasant in Jersey? I was told that you can get the pump rebuilt for 20 extra HP or fuel economy. Is this true? Any idea how much this will cost me? Thanks for your help!!!

One more thing how do I get rid of the pavement powder??

I know you can get them rebuilt for power. My former boss had his 6.2 pump done by a local diesel shop. Cost him $700 for the whole deal. It was "blueprinted" rather than just being rebuilt. He said the difference was phenominal. If you'd like, I can get you the number. I'm in Richmond, VA.

I had mine rebuilt, blueprinted, and custom calibrated by Trey's Fuel Injection in Waco, Texas. I did it through the mail.
Cost $250. A freind set me up with these guys, so I do not know if that price is available to everyone. For information, they have the service contract for Fort Hood. They know what they are doing.

After installing the injection pump, I got more power and better gas mileage. They increased the flow rate 10% which was perfect for my cucv truck. No black smoke. The increase in power and engine smoothness was incredible.
