TSGB has a big ol' hunk of antique iron drill press. Anyone traveling from Centralia, WA (between Portland and Seattle) to the BAy Area, who would be willing to transport it to me? I will pay for your gas!.

I'm "supposed" to visit my cousin in Seattle at the end of this month, but he hasn't given my the final date yet. I could pick it up,and bring it to Rob's shop if I do end up going.

If you could do that, you would be my friggin' HERO! That way TSGB can get it out of his hair, and 'fumes can begin tutelage on proper cocktailing etiquette and how to mix a proper drink.

Just give it up, it's too much hassle.

If I get involved in this transport... You probably will never see the thing. I fell in love with it the second I read the thread. I don't know how far down the list I am, but I am hoping you give up and let it slide to me. :haha::haha::haha:

Ok, I guess I can be a bigger man than that. If someone gets it to the swap meet in Portland. I can get it down to Corvallis (Albany) and then if there is someone a little further South I suppose I could get it there at some point.

BUT REALLY... I just want the damn thing.

UYB, can I PM you toward the end of the month, a little reminder? I'm racking my brain constantly trying to figure out how to get ahold of this thing.

ok, i'm in line after bigblue... see my post on the lounge thread. i'd suspect 16-17 mpg, and it's 1270 miles round trip soooooo that's about 75 gallons of fuel and at 2.80/gallon diesel you're looking at $210 from portland. ;) that's alot more than i expected, i guess...

I by no mean wish to be an a$$hat, however I must ask this question so that I can either plan to come get the thing... or I can come to terms with the idea of not getting it. So here goes...

How long does mofugly13 (sorry man, don't mean to call ya out on this... but...) have to get this thing picked up before I get the call and come pick it up?

I will tell ya this. That baby will have a permanent home here in my shop where it will do all the things it was designed to do for the rest of my life. No quick money making schemes here.

Please don't hate me for my greed... LOL

I'm going up to Fumes place the 15th or so to pick up a tailgate from UYB. If fumes has it by then I can bring it down to Eugene. I don't know if BigEasy is headed back down your way for his last trip before or after that but I guess I can ask him if you would like.
