Ok, I get my cat replaced, and then my tranny started to [censored] out on me. Here is the scenario:

My truck is reving real high in 1st gear, then shifting straight to 3rd. I down shift into 2nd, and it revs like it is in neutral until I get some decent RPM then it starts to hold power.

What the heck is going on here. It should be slipping as my RPM gets higher in second not hold better. It is like I have real low line pressure. My tranny is a rebuilt (stock with all updates, shift kit, and tranny cooler, 15-20K miles) 700R-4. Can anyone tell me what the heck is wrong or if the tranny is totally shot. Thanks for any help.
