well, my t-case blew up! actually I think it was bad from the beginning, but my teeny tiny tires didn't put enough load on them.

anyway, I'm wondering what a fair price is for a used np241 or a used np205

and I'm wondering what would be involved in mating up a np205 to my sm465??? is this a direct swap in, or is it a bit more complicated then that??? my blazer is an 89

    Thanks,

$595 doesn't seem bad but have you checked the junkyard?

    hey, thanks for the posts...

Yea I've already got a np241 located, and I can pick it up if I want it. I've got another place locally that is trying to find me a NP205. I'm just not sure what a decent price is for a used t-case.

You are lucky to have a 4-speed.

You can take an NP205 (with the adapter) from an 85-91 4-speed K30/V30 and bolt it right into your truck. You can also take an complete SM465/NP205 combo from a 71-80 truck.

http://www.valuparts.com is a great place to look for either t-case.

I did some footwork looking for a 241C a little while ago and found them for 300-350 at the boneyards around here. Fortunatley I found a great deal here.

Why do people keep calling it a Bronco!!!!! [IMG]
