Hello all,

I am in great need of a yoke for a 10 bolt rearend for my daily driver. It is an '87 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 short box. If you have one that you can part with I would gladly pay for it.

Also, if you don't have one but know where I can order one that would be just as good.

Thanks,
Mike

Local driveshaft shop can point you in the right direction. Appropriate forum for parts wanted is the parts wanted/parts for sale forum. Very popular.

Why insist on counting when the ring gear has the tooth counts stamped in?

I might have one in the garage. I'll check this week and let you know.

Try the dealer if you can't find one. I broke mine, sorry.

I can't really depend on a local driveshaft shop here in England, if there is such a place here. That is a major part of my dilema, American truck in Europe. I will also post in the parts wanted forum.

Kyle, thanks for taking a look.

The dealer option will be my next attempt if one doesn't pop up elsewhere very soon.

Thanks to all.

Mike, you could try e-mailing the folks at www.sdpc2000.com or www.paceparts.com and explaining your dilemma. Perhaps they could arrange to get the part to you.

hell, I'll give you one...but all you have to do is come and get the axle it's attached to.

Whats wrong with big and wide?

I'm guessing that the trip from England to California to pick up your axle would be considerably more expensive than just buying a yoke... [IMG]

I don't know...it's really clean, it might be worth it. Besides, I bet our weather is a bit nicer now then yours. Today it's windy but in the low 80's

Haha, ya, the wheather better than England just about anywhere.

Shoot, the other day a buddy of mine in Washington state found a round trip direct flight between Seattle and London for $220!! Cheapest I've ever seen that fare. The only thing is that I'm not quite sure if I have a suit case big enough to pack the rearend for the return flight.

Well let me know if you don't find one, and over the Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 24ish to you) I'll take the old one off the trashed 10 bolt and send it to you.

Sorry slick, I've got the yoke, but it's pretty garfed up. Hate to send you a peice of scrap metal.
