Hey all, I need your opinion on Rockford Fosgate componets...I remeber hearing somewhere that they were bad but then I hear they are good, what more can you ask from opinions right? [IMG] I was just wondering what you all thought about them! (I am thinking about getting two 10" sub's from them)

Fosgate is a good company. I have never had trouble with ANY of their equipment. I have owned punch amps, power subs, parametric eq's, and separates in my old school low rider days.

Rockfords are good. Tere old stuff was even better. As for entry level subs rockford has some of the best. I had a set of RF 10" subs in a bandpass box in the firebird for a while. I could here them over the exhaust so I would say they worked good. I run pioneer 12s in a bandpass now with a kenwood 600 watt amp. It hits really hard.

RF used to have a good reputation. Then they struck a deal w/ Best Buy so quality decreased to go along with the lower price. Very few Best Buy customers are audiophiles(not that thats bad)

Got a punch amp under my seat and I'm happy with it. Just make sure you have a powerful enough one if you like to crank up the bass. Mine is a little light in the a$$ so I'm going to get a second one. I don't know if Fosgate is the end all of components but I've been using them for years (amps especially) and I happy about the product.

    Hope that helps,
    Chris M
