I have a set of USED u-bolts from my 12 bolt. They were installed for almost a year and are long enough for 3" blocks so you would need to cut them down a few inches.

$10. for all 4 and I'll even toss in a set of spring plates if you want them.

Make it $15. and you can have the blocks too. :D

I think for now we're going to try to look for a direct replacement. We might go full width, but we'd have to know the difference in widths first. If anyone knows that would help. But first, I think we are going to look for a 5 lug s-10 style 10 bolt.

Would the perch width be the same? How much wider would the axle be? Spring under or spring over?

spring over im not surte the measurements on the perchs I also have the stock 52s that came out of the van with the axle and the total is i belive 3 inchs wider than a regular fullsize 10 bolt. the perches will probably need to be moved but i can take care of that for a little $ if needed

Hmm, wider than full width might be too wide for us. We're trying to keep it simple, we'll mod the thing later. For now, we're just trying to get it running so it can be inspected and registered.

Are those 52's the same as one I'd find in a truck? I wouldn't want to get screwed up with different thicknesses or eye size and such. If they're the same, I'd be interested. I'm just looking for direct replacements, as I broke one of mine. Just wanna swap them out and replace the block with a shackle flip.

the van width is the makes it the same width as the front tires would be and the springs are a little different. they are still the same length but there is one less spring so you get a softer ride. it sounds like jeremy might have a better set up for you but he is a ways away.

The same width as a full size front? This is a S-10...

I've got a friend headed to Eugene for spring break, so maybe his springs would work out after all. I'm wanting to go with a stock replacement springs for my broken ones and a shackle flip, maybe a flipped overload too. It would be nice to get rid of those blocks.
