Looks to me that by the FD's fire attack they might have pushed it throughout the entire house. How much did they save?

    Total loss.
The first guy that showed up did good actually. He had 90% of the flames out by the time the big trucks got there. Response was good too. I can hear them leave the station, and it was like three to four minutes when he pulled in the drive. The propane tank next to the front porch was what intensified the fire so much. You could hear it shooting flame across the front porch. The fellow that lived there had kerosene heaters and propane heaters. Don't know, but I imagine a gas leak might have been ignited by an open flame...........

I still maintain my 1.5" forestry hose statement on NC4x4. HAR HAR HAR! That's coming from a fireman, too!

But kudos to the lone fireman that took the initiative.

My main concern is: Why was he on the truck by himself?

The other guy had breathing apparatus on, and went inside looking for victims! Y'all don't get the respect ya deserve, LEOs too!

2 in 2 out, I am more worried about PPE. What a way to kick a$$ with what little water he had.
