Gotta go in and quit my job in a few mins...nervous as hell. They've treated me well, but i'm just not able to meet the inflated cost of living and be where I want to be...I hate screwing over my bosses, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

    crap.

Dont worry about it. Most places only require a year if they offer relocation for a job /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Heck if their business went south do you think they would hesitate to lay you off? /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

Wow! A month of notice? They should be happy. At least your not telling them to go ****emselfs on your last day or something... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Went well. Hell, my boss sympathized with me, and spend an hour reminicing about when he used to live in rural Indiana and make the same amount. He agreed that it's nuts to make 32K in an area where a craphole house is 180K, and try to get by...I actually think he's relishing telling the big boss. He said he just figured it would have happened sooner.

Sounds like it went well! It's always a good idea to leave on the best terms possible. You never know when you might need to either go back to a previous job, or use your previous boss and/or co-workers as references in the future. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
