Anyone have this? I got netflix and I have to say it's been way cool. If you have a dvd player it is for sure worth checking out! It's way better then Blockbuster. But then again going to the dentist is better then Blockbuster... but for the $20 a month like I said it is worth it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

They have everything (minus porn)... like 12,000 movies. You should check it out just to see if it'd be something you'd use. I love it so far!

DVD's weigh about 1oz to ship in their sleeves thus go under the 37 cent postage, but often show up broken because of that. Most people end up keeping them for a week or so that comes out to about $3-4 per movie rental. They never had what I wanted in stock, so I canceled my subscription last year. I have heard its much better with the new shipping centers around the US now. 2-3 day turn around for rentals/returns. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
I might try it again /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I use kazaa, but even with my highspeed connection it still can take days to download, because of other peoples connections.

I've been using Netflix for probably close to 2 years. I go through Spurts.. Sometimes I'll have all of 3 movies in a month, other times I'll watch over 8 movies a month so it evens out. Still a lot cheaper then my $20 late fees /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

And DIVX movies do not support 5.1 Dolby Digital.

I just like it because you don't have to deal with Blockbuster. Maybe it's just my area but they are so stupid. I always have fees they say I owe when I go there. Funny thing I always return my videos on time so I don't know where they come up with them. I had a fight over "The Sandlot" I rented it for work once. The kids wanted to see it. I returned it and a month later got a call saying I owed them this huge late fee and fee to buy a new movie since I never brought it back. I was so mad! They finally straighted it out months later after turning me over to a collection agency because I refused to pay. They finally found it. They had it the whole time and someone didn't check it in when I returned it. It had been rented out a ton of times since then so why they never realized this is beyond me. That type of service is very typical for them and my main reason to try something else...
