neutral saftey switch wire, reverse wire...?

    I am converting my column shifted TH350 to a floor shift, and don't know where the wires are for the neutral safety switch or reverse lights are, any help?? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

    the switches on top side of steering column housing down under dash almost at firewall inside cab, for auto trans they were both mounted on the column top side
    the switch with bigger yellow and purple wires is the safety switch starter interlock, other switch is the reverse


    i always just connect the yellow and purple ends together, just dont be dumb and start it in gear with other vehicles or ppl in front of or behind you, and dont depress gas pedal when starting in reverse or foward range
