    Re: Engine swap woes

Well, I got the old engine out, cleaned out the bay and straightened out the wiring. I just have to get an intake manifold, install it, and put the engine in. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Would like to get it done this weekend if I can get the intake tomorrow. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Its a long story but it has to do with the fact that the dealer wouldn't sell me an engine because according to the VIN, it's supposed to have a 305 and the warranty would only be 12mo/12,000mi. plus they wouldn't take the 350 core, they wanted me to bring back a 305 core or I would lose my core dep ($200.00).. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

I told them to go @#*! themselves. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

I tried other dealers and they gave me the same deal so I decided to use the block thats on the parts truck and just go with a carb til I can save enough $$$$$ to get a built crate.. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
