    Just bought a 1999 6.5 3/4ton 4x4. I want to fit 33s, can I do it without a lift?

    305/70R16 is 33x12.50. They don't make a 305/75 315/75 is a 35x12.50

[/ QUOTE ] A 4" lift would look nice in MHO.

On stock wheels (should be 16X6.5) 285's will fit with little to no rubbing, and 255/85's should fit as well. I run 285's on 16X7 steel wheels on my K2500 and I had to trim my bumper and the bottom of my fender a little bit to keep em from rubbing. 33X12.5's on 8" wheels will not fit without major trimming or a body lift.

Different torsion bars keys. They basically are indexed differently. Similar to cranking the t-bars up.
