I need a new Dash for my 81 Jimmy. Got LMC but price is kinda steep. Any other sources for new non OEM dashes. I don't want one of those plastic cover dashes I'm looking for the real thing. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Try www.classicindustries.com. their complete reproduction padded dash goes for $189.95 w/ your choice of color. None of that cheesey paint to match crap. I found this one in Chevy High Performance Magazine. Sometimes it pays to checkout sport truck and car mags from time to time.

I saw an ad for Year One in the same mag for the same price.

Hey BlazzinOR, is that pad identical to OEM or would it be obvious to us K5 owners that it is a replacement?

Identical to OEM, tho I guess a "keen eye" might tell it is made from a different material than stock, which is actually a good thing. Urethane apparently won't crack unless subjected to 300 degrees or so!
