new driveshaft!!

    well it looks like i need a new driveshaft..the yoke that holds on the rear u-joint is out of round so thats y it is clunking when i stop or hit the gas..i just replaced the u-joint like 2 hours ago..it doesnt make that clunk sound, but u can tell that there is slack in it and the joint moves a litle..kinda sucks.. anybody know of some CHEAP driveshafts? or u think the junkyards are my best bet??

    Good luck with the wrecking yards, you could be on the phone a while. When my brother in laws drive shaft got stolen I called 8 places before I found a yard that had one.

    It'll probably cost you the same to get it fixed at a driveline shop than what a wrecking yard would charge for a used one...
