    Glasspacks burn out??

Mine have been on for atleast 9 years, I kind of like the sound. Will flowmaster 50 series sound better, give more power etc.? Or would 40 series be better? Oh, and how much would it cost with dual exhaust?

I have ran glasspacks on several others vehicles for years..I think they sound better as they get older.

68 caddy got the pipes HOT and ran cold water into the glasspacks...ohhh the sound after that.

My experience with glass packs was usually a couple of years but I am not sure if those were the cheapy ones, made in TAIWAN. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Are the ones you put good quality?
I am looking at doing a dual setup on mine and I want something somehow cheap.

So you sprayed some water into the exhaust? My dad said something about spraying it from the outside so I did that and didn't really notice a change. Maybe i'll spay water in em when I get home.

they're illegal in a lot of areas. most mufflers have to be chambered. i like the sound of mine, and the get better over time. i think the packing material melts together.
