Take that bumper to scrap and I'll bet you'll recoup your cost right there. :D

I say take the parts you want, sell the rest, scrap the carcass. Looks like it's make a good wheeler if you wanted to fix it up though.

It really does have a lot of potential, but Lord Almighty, it might take longer to unscrew that thing than build it. Whew, that is niiiice work:confused: :D :haha:

    If it was me?

    1) ditch the rusted out bed and ad a cool 4x4-friendly flatbed

    2) un-booty fab the x-over and body lift... throw on a cheap set of used lift springs.

    3) go to a junk yard and find a real gas tank & a driveshaft.

    4) sell the front bumper to someone who plans on hitting moose

    5) wheel the piss out of it. :)

If I keep it I need to find another front end this one is shot and I can't find parts for it it has the large external style hubs and disc brakes it's different than any ford Dana 44 I've ever seen

it needs axleshafts and spindles the truck had some 15"x about 19" wide rims with about 3.5" of backspacing and 39.5 boggers. both front spindles are bent so bad that the axle shafts won't go in or come out plus i'm pretty sure the housing is bent as well

heres some more pics of the "fabwork" and some of the tires that use to be on the truck

    Update:

Well after further inspection I've decided to swap the body and Motor onto a 78 F150 frame with a 4-spd 205 combo ,8 lug the dana 44 front and swap in a Dana 70 rear and run 35" BFG's and run stock Class in the local mudboggs

The Highboy frame has serious problems .numerous cracks and booger welds not to mention the front crossmember they torched out to fit the power steering box

The Boggers are gonna go on my 98 Burb after its impending SAS swap
