Thanks for the site Steve. It's nice to have a place where you can ask something non-Blazer related and still get it answered by all the knowledgable members of the board!!!

It's not what you buy, it's what you build!

Yeah, I kind of miss my old '72 (wanna be) Formula Firebird sometimes, then I remeber what a POS it was. I don't miss being pulled over on a routine basis, though.

Very nice car Steve! Gotta love old American Iron! I just took some pictures of my 75 Firebird and I'll post them in a few days. I couldn't get the front, but got the rest.

    Hey Pete
I used to have a 73 Formula Firebird about 8 years ago, I bought it for 700. bucks from a kid who lost his liscence in it. It was rusted out pretty bad but it had a 400 4 spd and hauled some ass, wish I still had that thing some times.

At the time it would have cost much more than what it would have been worth, plus I found out that the entire rear clicp was replaced (cut off and new one welded on) and wondered what else was wrong with it.
My next rod will be a Vette, I like Camaro's but there's nothing like the style and performance of a big block 2 seater independant suspension get the hell outta my way Vette.

My dream car is a '96 (that body style) vette. I don't care what color or anything like that. I've never even gotten a ride in one, but I know I want one! A guy offered to sell his vette ('87 or '84 model don't remember) in trade for my s-10 and 3K. It was tempting, but from what I understood, the vettes weren't very good (comparing before and after vettes) cause of emission restrictions and they didn't have the technology to work around that then. I would like to have a 427 though too. I'm gonna have to have a two story garage/shop one day for all the cars I want!!!
