    Stephen...wandered through the parts department monday night after talking with you about this odd little quirk GM has provided lately...i used 2 different heim joints we had...basically the same just one has a longer shank...was able to thread on a nut to lock the adjustment in place...and screw the to halves together...adjust and bolt in place. Worked like a charm...didn't even need the all-thread i bought at napa...hehe. Drove her home and the rubber bushing eliminated all shift stick rattle...plus the heims fit through the shifter link and stick without drilling or fiddling around. If you want i will appropreate a set for you and send them up so you can see what i used.

    Just snap a shot, or measure the center to center, that should do it. We have oodles of male and female 3/8" rod ends here for the Doubler shifters
