Just thought I'd introduce myself and what I've got. Name is Bill, live in Phoenix, and I just bought my first Blazer, a stock 89, in January. Couple weeks later lifted it 5" and put in on 35's. Two weeks ago I bought another, 87, that will be built for the wife.

Here's my 89 3 weeks after I bought it, right after the lift and wheels...

First time I took it out, Easter weekend...

No pics of the 87 yet but here's my brother in-laws 72 (20+ Inches of lift, 44's and a built and blown 502) that got me into 4x4's and lifted trucks...

After you go over the 17 and head down to were the pavement ends just stay to the right at every fork you come to except the one that goes down a somewhat steep hill. Eventually you'll come down a hill with this in front of you. This spot is just off to the left of where the road goes through the water. We go out there about every other weekend (usually Sunday) also but have taken a break since Easter due to running low on ammo and me spending all my gun show money on buying another Blazer.

Is it state trust land? Or is it part of the lake?

I know I usually will go down to the where that river meets the lake, its not that spot is it? That looks like decent mud, th place we go is usually wet sand..

    Thanks for the directions!!

It's not part of the lake.

There is a gate like that on the way but I've never seen it closed. Hard to say if you were at the right place though. I haven't been down there since Easter but I doubt the water would be too low especially since we got a little rain the other night. I've got a family gathering today and I'll see if anyone has the topo maps still that I can scan and show exactly where it's at.

Do you go through a gate, that says like " Now entering lake plesant " and there is like cows on the left? That is the way I usually take, and I think that is where that other guy ended up, from what I can tell you are up the river a bit, in about 2 weeks I will be back up there, since I will be in cali.

No. You have to stay to the right at all the forks.

Not sure about trails but every time I've been down there it's been wet and muddy. There's also another spot not far from that with some really thick gooey mud but it's too hard to explain how to get to it and unless you're really setup for playing in that type of mud I wouldn't suggest it. I've seen a couple people get swallowed up in it really quick.

Yeah, my truck does not like thick gooey mud, I got stuck very bad, search "My First Stuck" in the garage section, I came to find out that my 2 Loc does not work, so if I would have realized that before getting in the mud, I probably would not have gotten stick.

I plan on putting some TSL SX I got from a member on my k5 soon, but I am looking for bigger axels right now, cause I am running 3.08 gears, and with 35
    s...it would suck!

Thanks for the info on that spot, I might head up there in like a week or two, with our quads and such, maybe camp out I dont know yet.
