My wife *cough* actually likes those things.

They took everything good about a H1, erased it, and left everything that was bad about it perfectly intact.
It's a waste. I think the Avalanche is probably just as capable a wheeler as that thing. Yuk.

I sat in one at the state fair. What a pos. It's all leather inside with onstar and all that jazz. There was a guy sitting in it in the passenger seat and he was all raving to me about how badass it was. I tried to ignore him, but finally turned and said "My $4,000 Blazer would spank this big piece of [censored] all over offroad, my $27K Cummins would spank it all over on road, and I'd still have $30,000 left over to do something useful, not show off for the joneses...I dont think he understood. But that's ok, cause one less jackass in a real offroad truck. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Yeah one of the guys in my clubs neighbor has been testing one and brought one over for him to look at it. He (buddy) said it was a little cheezy. Might make a good tow rig. it comes with SF14.
Here is a picture of the one my bud looked at. The neighbor is standing in the door.

While I'm not exactly a big supporter of the H2, I don't remember a Tahoe coming with 3/4 ton running gear, 35" BFG all-terrains, and a selectable locker in the rear axle......not to speak of the ground clearance, approach/departure/breakover angles.....

All very true, and a capable rig, but who's gonna wheel their $50k rig seriously? Unless as stated before ya have more $$ than brains...

Looks like we'll have to revise the old jeep phrase a little...

"Hummer H2, so girly... Barbie just had to have one!"

Well, probably very few H2's will be wheeled but still, it should be at least half way competent off-road. Concerning the money aspect, there are quite a few H1's on the trail and they cost considerably more plus there are lot's of guys around that have $50K in their Blazers and Jeeps.

Good point, I guess I'm just jealous that I don't have the $50k to spend on my rig /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I wonder what kind of price I can get for the wife and kid? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif
