Started at a Chevy dealership on monday. And boy do I have to learn alot more about wiring. I've been mainly doing check engine lights and what not, but I'm learning tons and having fun while doing it. I've gotta put a distributor in a GMC Safari van that d*mn near kicked my ass today. Had a fuel gauge inop code and a CMP sensor circuit code. When I turned the motor over via starter it sounded like a timing issure and I poppd the dizzy cap and found the rotor not moving while I was turning it over. I think this is gonna be mocho fun lol. I impressed the service manager (who was a technician for 40 yrs) yesterday when the INJ fuse kept blowing and he told me it was the fuel pump. I searched SI and found out that that circuit goes to the TBI injectors ( kinda a given) and it was a pinched wire b/t the the PCV ring and the throttle body. But I'm having tons of fun and my pockets are about to empty out again, b/c I need more tools. But yeah sorry I aint been on that much, I know yall missed me .
