    Hey guys
I received one of the first new fasttrac soft tops from Kayline a few weeks ago. I was talking to Shawn Spickler who also had one on order and was talking to Kayline about the rear corner windows, I guess the new tops can be ordered without those windows.

You got any pics? I hope they look a lot better than that one someone posted up with those ugly windows.

They're also coming out with the 69-72 Blazer full top (no rear corner windows) in 6 weeks according to the owner Blake Robinson. After that, he said they'll be producing the 73-75 top (not sure on the time frame). Pics and article coming soon.

I will try to have at least pics this weekend, I have to do a review on the Can-Back top as well. I think the Fasttrac design utilizes a channel system instead of the old snaps along the side.

The fast trac also has the zip out windows.

    Groovy!!
I have the old scholl one so it's gonna have to do!
I got it back in 93 and it's still in good shape although the winders are gettin kinda foggy so the tinted ones on the new tops is a SWEET idea http://www.kaylinetops.com

Fast trac, I believe, is you can move the top up and down like a convertible right??? like you don't have to take it off, you just fold it down and then fold it back up when you need to use it. That I think is it, but not 100%. Thanks for the info though Shawn and Steve. I'm definately waiting for the one for my 75' K5.

Yep, your right, you first have to zip out the windows then it folds back like a convertible.

Do you still have to drill snaps at the tailgate? I am thinking real hard about a soft top, but that is the only drawback, besides a Skyler top. Can you order it without the snaps installed, and then fab a crossbar at the top of the tailgate, install the snaps there and then let the flap hang over the tailgate a couple inches for the water to run off. Think this would be easy?

The Can-Back uses a thin piece of metal with snaps on one side and double edge tape on the other, I'm sure you could use something like that with the Kayline.

    Oh Steve,

Did you have to show that. Now I want one. But first the tune up, the front end job, the brakes, etc. So cool [IMG]. Any idea what this will cost?

I think they start at around 500. and the dark tint option may be about a 100. but not sure, and those corner windows, to not have them are an option as well, but not sure on the price.

My old kayline is getting on in years, but I will need to replace the canvas next year at any rate. If any one get one of the new fasttrack tops for a 69 ti 72 send me some pics of how the tracking works, I done want to lose my tono cover or the sun top that are useing the same snaps as the kayline top!!

I understand the jeep thing I drive a BLAZER!!
