Just got my 4" skyjacker lift installed, all springs. Should I go ahead and lower the t-case? And where can I get one of those "angle finders" or whatever they are called, to check my driveshaft angles?

I miss my Ex, but my aim is getting better!

Yeah, I think I'll wait. I still have the drive shaft disconnected from the lift install. I'll see whats going on after I get humpty dumpty back together again.

I ran a 4" HD for about 3-4 years and never had a problem with vibes except for a bad front driveshaft. Now I am running a 6" Superride which gives me just a little more lift than the 4"HD and i still haven't dropped my case. My slip yoke is even pulled out way too far, but it drives good.

I would only drop the case as a last resort because you loose some clearance.

That was going to be my next question. How do you tell how far is too far for the slip yoke?

Well there is about 5 inches or so of slip on the yoke. On a stock Blazer, I belive that yoke is in the tranny about 3-4 inches or so when sitting level. Mine is only in the tranny about a inch! It scares me, but has held up for years!
I am getting a new rear shaft from a SWB p/u and will have it shortened if need be to the correct length.

Yeah, I remember your post. Did you ever find out how much of a difference there is? I meight need to go this route myself. Nashville Tn is very Blazer poor. At least if there is a large number of Blazers, everyone is doing a good job of hiding them. You can find hardly any GM 4x4 parts in junk yards. Out of 25 junkyards, I found "1" 10 bolt.

Emmett! Me and you need to become better buds. LOL!! Looks like your on here as much as me while (working). I mean working while posting. LOL!! Yeah, I know 10 bolts aren't what most people here on CK5 look for, but untill I get over my new 4" adn 33's, I'll stick with the 10 bolts. Hell, if that don't suprise you. I called one junk yard and asked the guy if they had any 12 or 14 bolts, and he said they don't make 14 bolts. I laughed and hung up. I didn't figure he was worth the explaining.
