Discussion in '1969-1972 K5 Blazer | Truck | Suburban' started by **DONOTDELETE**, Aug 17, 2003.

I have had my 72'Blazer since 1987 when i bought it from
the 2nd owner. I'm glad to find you guys and look forward
to making some new friends. The /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif is white with white,
black and blue plaid inserts on white seats with white doors
and console. The glove box door tag has these options:
    167710 custom trim combina
    1yg810 special promotional
    1z8410 cheyenne equp.
I think my Blazer might be kinda rare.
Will someone help me find out what all thes options are?
Also has CST on the doors.I know Custom Sports Truck.
    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to CK5! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I have seen pictures of that fabric pattern and IIRC it is kinda rare. A good site for the old trucks is www.67-72chevytrucks.com. There is tons of good info there for everything GM truck wise for 67-72.

What are the plans for your Blazer?

  2. It has been a winter daily driver for 16 years.
now we are down to 2 cars and i took the top off
for the 1st time. I'm going to keep it and drive
it year round but i want a soft top 9 months out
of the the year. It has 143,000 miles and smokes
a little till it warms up (valve guides?) I don't
know if I should rebuild yet or get a crate motor.
Thanks for the welcome and whats IIRC

There are quite a few places to get parts. Here are some:

    Chevy Duty

    GMC Pauls

    LMC

    Brother's Trucks

GMC Paul's is a great dealer. That guy knows his 67-72 trucks. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
