What's it like to live in Santa Fe? It looks really neat! Both me and Nick like outdoor stuff and they seem to have lots to do. How are jobs/living expenses?

Answers: $1, Short: $5, Correct: $25, dumb looks are still free.

My dad has a plus north of there in the mountains. Really like the area and hope to get moved up there one day myself.

Hey Lara, costs quite a bit to live up there. Way too much IMHO. Kind of a tourist trap place. For example- Gas in ABQ could be 1.10, in SF you're payin 1.40. Kind of like Sedona vs. Phoenix. Santa Fe is also where most of the State Eco Nazis live [IMG]

See my post on alburquerque. This is the area we've been thinking about moving to, just dont know yet though. Got about a year till I get out of school, a lot of stuff could change between now and then. Beautiful country, but I think it'd be like living in Tahoe instead of Carson City. Beautiful, but way overpriced. Go price homes in Alb vs Santa Fe. It's easily double in SF, and Alb is just maybe a hair over what houses run around sherman. Too rich for my blood, at least right now. Mixed feelings about Alb too...a choice we're going to have to make sometime soon though.

I'm researching it more. Seems there's a lot of jobs available. Also, there are outside communities that people commute from to santa fe. My half brother lives in alb. He's been there for years. Of course, it also depends on what kind of job offers Nick gets.
