Woohoo! I just bought a new motor for my 92 Firebird. My wife and I figured it was in our budget, so I got it from a friend of mine. It is a 355 Chevy and was making about 465 hp in my friend's truck. We could lay down abot 30' of tire marks in the truck. We're going to lower the compression a little so I can run pump gas, but other than that it'll be pretty much the same. I'm guessing it'll be making at least 400hp. The motor is in pieces and we are putting it back together, I'm thinking of putting a 383 crank in it and building a 383 stroker, but we'll see how it goes. Should be pretty sweet! I'm still debating on whether to go to carb or convert to TPI. We're thinking of TPI for the streetability and reliability, but that might change.
