    What do you think?

THREE LINKS......get it? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Triaged is helping me calculate the strength of these new "links"....they seem relatively strong in tension, but are not really working out under compression...!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Anyway, that rear driveshaft angle (and shortness) has me a bit concerned. The angle off that rear yoke is 23*, and the driveshaft is probably not even 48" long......that's after moving the entire driveline forward 5".

Hmmmm...the old "broomhandle driveshaft" might prove to be a poor choice for strength also. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I think your broom handle needs a CV.

    Greg,
Is your garage always that clean? How do you do fabrication in there and keep it looking like that? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Also if you beef up the broom handle you may have to add the other 4 wheel studs or that will become your weak link. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

No silly.....that's so that I could be sure that at least ONE of the studs was pointing straight up for the chain attachment.... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Looks like you need more wheelbase, I bet your sub body would fit nicely....

Or just stretch a set of K5 quarterpanels so the wheel is next to the tail lights.
