That is your problem, you can not remote link to webshots, just click on URL when you make the post and enter the link to the site or try Imagestation.com I think you can remote link from their host. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Nice work as always Sid. How thick is the mat'l that you used for the perches?

Last I heard you had some issues with the rear susp being too soft, decided to live with soft and just use a traction bar to control the hop?

Looks like the back of one of those "Smart cars" I last saw in Germany. I like the other red car better /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What size springs are thouse? Guessing somewhere around 56 or 57. Planning on doing some flying? Just guessing do to the truss being nice and wide, the bolts instead of u bolts keeping the axle from rotating (hopefully providing a stronger point).

that is probably one of the cleanest axle trusses I have seen. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
now if you really want to impress me lets see a front axle truss /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I have been trying to figure out how to do a good upper truss on a 60 with springs in front. any pictures of some you guys have seen ?

Yes I live in salt lake
Yes that is a smart car that was snuck into the country
thanks I have been thinking about doing this for a long time
and the spring mounts are made from a peice of 1/4 inch wall 6 inch square tubing
I just painted it tonight so there will be more pics in a day or two
Yes thoes are 56 inch 3/4 ton springs turned around backwards which ended up moving the rear end back 5 inches. last spring I moved the front foward 1 1/2 inches to make the total wheel base 112 3/4.
