Fished a tributary of the New River today. I caught four, all between 13 and 15 inches. Nice for this small stream. Scott only got one in, we both lost several each. Light breeze, low 70's, sunny afternoon................I'd rate it a strong 9 of a day!
Only took a few photos as we were getting ready to head back home............

You ever rafted in the upper or lower gulley on the New river? Insane.

I love the New River area. For those that don't know, the New River is one of the oldest rivers in the country.

Thanks guys, the New River is the second oldest river in the world. Only the Nile is older and they both run North. My wife and I canoed two days and camped along the river two years ago. Going on a day fishing canoe trip soon. On the main New River, of course.
