man, that's sexy! I would love to have one in the .243. I kinda curious how well the 30TC is going to take off with sales. I would be scared to invest in new caliber that might become a high dollar ammo later down the road.

Also newsworthy, S&W just bought Thompson/Center. They're going to mix the best of both. The blurb was in American Rifleman.
Yeah, I'd jump a chance to try the 30TC.

looks pretty much like the Ruger M77 to me. :dunno: Not doing much for me. Gimme one of these instead.

with synthetic furniture, the M14 is the best battle rifle ever made. Until they come up with ray guns or something, the M14 is the shizzle. Its to battle rifles what the K98 is to bolt actions; the final evolution.

Bought not built, but it has enough "go" to back up the "show". Did G&A qoute a MSRP?

G & A Feb. 2007 final paragraph, "All in all, I think Thompson/Center has done an excellent job of designing the Icon, and at a suggested retail of $800, I would say its a heck of a lot of gun for the money."
