I've owned early 70's trucks before, but I just bought my first Blazer. It's a 1970 CST with 69,000 miles, 350 power and 4-speed. Here in the rust-belt around Cincinnati, Blazers are pretty rare, as I don't remember the last time I saw another one on the road. There's a lot of little B.S. things that need to be done, but I'm working on them. One of those is finding the plastic caps that go on top of the doors, right above the vent glass. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Hey Dave, If you don't have one yet, go to www.lmctruck.com and send for the free catalog. Lots of stuff here a guy can use, and fairly good prices on most stuff also. I think you are looking for what is called a drip rail deflector. They have them as a set for $19.95.

You can go to the 67-72 chevy/gmc resource page and check out alot of companies and idividual dealers for parts also.BTW quite a few are way cheaper than LMC. Just found out in the last 6 mos after checking and comparing. LMC does have good service and a wide variety of products.

I am definitely interested in the caps, but I am pretty much computer illiterate so please be patient as I try to get the hang of this thing.

drip rail deflector and the caps on top of the window vent are 2 different things. I have not seen any caps for our blazers, so careful with what you ask/buy.

Drip rail deflector are screwed to the winshield pilar and the top.
The cap that goes on top of the vent window is scewed onto the door itself.
