\"New to me\" dana 60s--what to look for

Finally have money to start looking for Dana 60s. What are some items to look for (as in wear and tear items) besides the actual cost of the axle, what kind of stuff should i replace or look into replacing? I have my eye on one but the guy is stubborn so who knows--it is still complete on the truck w/ all the hardware, but if this falls through i have to start looking far and wide. thanks for any info

Hey, sorry no info about what you neede, but tell me about your flatbed, if you would. I plan to do one also, with the frame shortened to the spring hangers. Mail me if you want my schematics or something. Thanks a lot.

make sure to get the spring caps with it.
they are over built for most applications but it is possible to bend them, if an industrial source I would make sure it is straight.
nothing 60 specific but make certain the spindles are serviceable and check everthing that you would on any axle.

    still a jerk though
