Welcome to CK5 and do something before everyone drives you into the ground: get some 3/4 ton axles or better yet, 1 ton axles and get rid of those puny 10 bolts. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif This site is pretty hard on anyone with 10 bolts, so consider yourself warned. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifWelcome to the site. As for the 10-bolt thing, lots of these guys started out with'em and upgraded as they could. Also, remember (this'll start something) the only difference in a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton 10-bolt is the hubs, 6-lug vs. 8-lug! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gifThe rest is the same front end and one is pretty much just as strong as the other. I've bashed'em off-road without breaking...just takes some better driving skills. And yes I now run 1-ton axles but I spent 20 years on the others proving it's just as important to have good driving skills and a workable "package" as it is to have heavier axles. Anyway, welcome aboard! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I live in Pa. I am 42,and my K has tons of issues to be remedied from unknowledgable people have their hands under the hood. Like I said if I knew then what I know now I would have immediatly scrapped the 1/2 axles. As for the Iroks they suck in the rain, kick booty on rocks and work good in the mud.I have no pics on a server right now since this PC is new
