    Picked this up tonite.

87 Suburban 2WD 3/4 ton with a 454 and turbo 400. The interior is clean as well as the exterior. Rims and running boards have to go but It really tows nicely. What a way to get used to a truck. Buy it and tow with it right away. I didn't trust Willyswanter to drive my S10 home. (BTW thanks for coming with me and convincing me to buy it.)

    Sweet! Sounds like my 88.

Buying wheels if you want to stick with the E rated 235 85 16's sucks. Can't run a rim wider then 7 inches. Looks like I'll be putting a set of 589's on it this week. one of the few rims that have the weight rating that will fit the tires.

Grim, I haven't even started looking into that. I am getting a set of the new Chevy HD rims witht eh eal so i will see what those look like on in. If not then the 589 will do. I've always liked those anyways. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

[/ QUOTE ] Weldracing makes alums that can handle lots of weight.
