dont ask why, but since i was a kid i have loved turtles. in my new place, i dont have a yard, so i built them a new enclosure today. winter is coming, so tomorrow i will build the top with the uv lights and heat lamps.

We started off with 2 babies 2 years ago that we ordered, Then somehow we got 2 more from someone now they are kinda big for the 20 gal long so I guess were going to get another aquarium soon, or find them a home.

I've got 3 desert tortoises. I made them an encloseure in the back yard were they have little burrows to sleep in and their own wateringhole. Now that it's getting colder outside we put them inside in an aquarium and get them to start hybernating. Once they slow down and are less active we put them in a small box with newspaper and put them in the garage untill March. I'll snap a couple of pics of the habitat.

It's about as hard as picking up dog [censored] for 4 damn dogs and cleaning a fish tank with 6 freaking fish. I'm just waiting till every pet dies off so I can have time to myself. The duck was eaten by the dogs and the frog jumped to his own death off the counter. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif
