    hello am new to this sight really enjoy it. Can any help with a 86 burb shifting really hard from 1st to 2nd no shift kit. If I put it in drive not in OD it does not shift as hard any ideas?

    Might check the adjustment of the TV cable. It's sort of like a down shift cable but on a 700R4 it acts like a throttle position sensor. It tells the tranny how much throttle your giving it and it adjusts how agressive the shifts are going to be. If not adjusted correctly it can cause them to shift funny. It can also cause damage to them.

    thanks will try I forgot to mention also clunks real hard when i go from to park to reverse.
