Newer style bumber?

    anyone ever put a 98 style bumper on a 84 style truck? I know it would take custom bumber brackets but I could probably make those... any other things like this yall did I would like to here about too

    btw i was thinking about the rear... I bet if I would have mad the subject TUBE WINCH BUMPER IDEA I would have had alot more responces /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

    It would take some pretty weird brackets. The frame width on the newer trucks is alot wider than on our old stuff. I haven't measured the body width, but it's possible that you could run into some interference problems there as well. You'll need to break out the tape measure to check that.
