    Ratch,
Thanks for meeting us for beers!

    All,
Ratch was kind enough to meet me and a co-worker at the last moment while we were in town
    for business.

    And New York was AWESOME!

    Heading back to SF today.

I used to work on 55th and Park... man I really miss NYC (but I like the traffic where I live much better... closest stop light is 40 miles away)...

I tell ya what I can't imagine looking at the skyline there now. [IMG]

    Dave,
Man, you beat me to it!!
I got back to ground level about 35 minutes after you guys left, and I saw it was just about dark, so I really hope you guys got to see some the city before then!!!

Man, I'm sorry, I was a little burnt by the time I met up with you guys (much more quieter and worn out than usual, so I wasn't much of a conversationalist)... I was thinking this morning too bad it wasn't lunch or a weekend, I'd have pointed you guys to some sights and stuff in the city!! I didn't realize it til I was already on my train, I sent you guys up to the street without any directions, advice, or even an idea of where the sovenier tables were! Very sorry!!!!!!!! And sorry for keeping you underground drinking so long!

ALL: Dave bought me two beers in NYC's Penn station (very generous!!!). It was a good time, first fellow CK5er I've met in person! Dave, I'll repay you a couple beers if I ever make that drive to WA...

    Ratch

Dave makes a point of finding CK5ers wherever he can...I've never been pulled over by a Corvette until Dave found me on the I-5 North near Mt. Shasta. He never bought me a beer though[IMG]

    Back in Ca.....

    Ratch,
Next time I am out there I'll buy steaks and beer - enjoyed the company.

And how can you be a conversationalist around me and my co-worker? We are pretty obnoxious and loud.
(and I wanted to kick his ass when he called it a Bronco, he is a good friend but likes to push buttons....)

We picked up a few NYPD and NYFD hats and shirts, wandered about for a few hours, tried to get up the Empire State Bldg (it is still closed or they saw us coming....). I enjoyed but need more time to see some of the sites.

Rene, I'll buy during your next x-country excursion. I should have brought you to the wedding on that trip.....
Sorry. So much for Ca hospitality.
So now I have 2 days at home before Hawaii - do we have any brothers out there?
