Is your team making the right picks?

The browns just picked wisconsin OT Joe Thomas@ with the third pick.

I am giddy with excitement. the last thing we needed was another rookie QB.
All we need to do now is draft for defense and I'll be happy.

Yeah, how'd that work out for ya?

I can't believe that Miami drafted that Ginn guy. What a waste of a draft pick. I am glad to see Gaines Adams go very early in the first round.

For as many needs as the browns have, a QB wasn't the most pressing, IMHO, but what do I know.. Gaines should be a good one..I think the dolphins did pretty good for themselves so far.. We'll see about Ginn..If his busted foot ever recovers 100% he might pan out.. after he got hurt, I notice people quit piling on the ball carriers when they score.. I always thought that was stupid..

The other thing that gets me, is that the Ravens need a WR and they drafted a lineman and a return specialist. I don't get it. I guess they could go after a free agent, but what do I know. I guess you could still pick up a decent WR later on.

I see you are a browns fan. How do you think the AFC north will pan out this year?

Isn't the ravens o - line getting old? maybe that's why they went after a lineman, to replace ogden.

As far as the AFC north, I look for the ravens to win it, followed by cinci, then us and then the steelers.

We don't have enough talent yet, and I look for pittsburgh to fall apart without cowher.

the fact the ravens took troy smith scares me. as a lifelong clevelander, i understand that our franchises are cursed, so that means brady quinn will become vinny testaverde, and troy smith will be the next brett favre.

    you heard it here first.

I usually don't drift into the lounge, but I gotta make sure I'm reading this correctly. You are picking the steelers to finish last in the division? Which means that you are picking the Browns to finish ahead of them, correct?

What sort of evidence leads you to believe those two statements? Was it the 4 games you guys won last year or the 6 games you won the year before that lead you to that conclusion?

I'm predicting sub .500 finishes for both teams. Mr roethlisbeger proved himself to be a mere mortal last year, the steelers have no running game, and it's the first year for a new coaching regime. That means they fall back to earth.

I'm picking the browns to finish ahead of the steelers just to tick off the steeler fans. ( like the one I'm married to ) they're funny when they get all worked up.

X2!!! Along with that, I think our picks weren`t half bad either.
