    i am about to go all out on my k5. I would just like to know what is legal and what is not. Any help would be great. thx mike

    in what way? 9" is your limit for total lift on a K5..

    i guess i just really want to know what i can get away with. I am only going with a 4" spring so thats no big deal. Found a deal on 40 tsls. Also, thinking about lossing a LOT of body. thx

    well, your gonna have a tough time keeping from getting pulled over i would say, unless you do it right...

    Rootbreaker is right at the limit running 40 Hawgs, which run a little small and i believe about 6"s of lift... and iirc, he's registered at 3/4 ton, which is 11"s height max i believe....

    your definitely gonna need some sort of flares... severely hacked fenders may pass in other parts of the country, but your bound to get hassled in joysey for sharp edges.. maybe severely hacked fenders and the soft rubber flares... you'll be right at the height limit pretty much with 4" and 40's... definitely gonna need to move that front axle i would think to keep it off the firewall....
