no brake lights now

    just want to get some hints befor i start lookin..on my way to the shop to have an alingment done my friend mentioned that my brake lights dont work...and ive never had a problem befor so im guessing it is something ot to with putting the tilt column in..any thing i could check for? what wires could i have messed up that would cause that? my turn signals work..and so do the regualer lights..no brakes though. any ideas? thanx guys! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    Maybe the stoplight switch got damaged or unplugged,since your directionals work that means the bulbs should be ok,they use the same filament as the brakes.If you swapped to a different colum,the wires may plug in the harness ok but you may have to move a few of them to a different location in the plug,they arent all the same in my experience,especially if you put a later colum with tilt wheel. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
