NO GIMMICK ALMOST FREE 4\" REAR SPRING LIFT

last weekend I was working on putting a lift on my 73 chevy wood roach pickup I had 4" front springs but no rear and I
didn't want blocks. I had a pair of 69 chevy 3/4 ton rear leaf springs laying around so for sh!@#$ts and giggles I wanted to see what they would do. To my amazement they gave
me an honest 3 1/2" of all spring lift in the rear. The only
thing it did was push my axle back about an inch which was no big deal. Now I have an all spring lift for the cost of
front springs and stock junkyard springs. No BS it really worked. Brian

Thanks for the good idea. Wonder what a one ton would ride like? How was the ride when you got it done? Compared to stock?
