I was looking for a place to take the wife for a weekend away and found this site out on the Oregon Coast. Sounds like a great place to get lucky until I see the NO HUMMERS allowed rule. Sounds like a bunch of eco nazi's run this place. I don't have a Hummer but the only options for us to drive are a Ford Excursion, Dodge Ram 3500 Dually and a K5 Blazer on 38'' Boggers. Which do you think they would allow us to park there?

In my mind I feel like making reservations, taking the Excursion and bring the ATVs and trailer along with us, go hunting and put the deer on the hood of the truck:)) If we have an unwelcomed experience we could always sue them for discrimination against SUV drivers:))

Anyone else ever seen anything like this?

brother, i was born in oregon and live there till i was 8, moved to washington till 17 then back to oregon till 18.5. then USMC. since i have lived in AZ, Cali, and a bit in Iraq. i FUKN HATE OREGON and all the godamn HIPPIES!! in all honesty i would rather be in iraq before oregon or cali. washington isnt much better due to weather, BUT AZ is home.

sorry.. i guess i had to vent.

Just reading through it, it's obvious that place is ran by a bunch of hippie ****tards. Forget the whole thing and go some where else, that is unless of course you have a t-shirt that reads "Beautify America, Shoot a Hippy" and you are willing to wear it there...............

Trailer the K5 until you get close. Drive it in. It's not a Hummer. :D

I would take the sign literally and not drive a Hummer in. If they didn't specify the type of vehicle, that's their ****ing problem.

Never knew the US owned multiple oceans, let alone a whole one.

It's hard to protect an ocean when it's international water. Have you ever lookup up the dumping regulations? Depending upon your distance from mainland, you're allowed to literally thow your trash overboard (depending on the trash of course).

Sounds like a tofu farting hippie paradise.

You couldn't pay me to "vacation" there... the stench of BO alone would nausiate me.

Dude, I HIGHLY doubt you'll fit in there. Hippy Nazis- who would have known???? For example, take a CLOSE look at their cancellation policy.

BTW, have you taken a look at their "advocacy" page? Talk about a Bark-eater's Guide to Who's Who........:eek1:

I wouldn't give them my business.

But I would either drive the K5, or trailer it there, and then leave the tow rig parked and drive the K5 around. Damn I'm an a$$hole. :D
