Ok, while trying to get on the freeway today to go fishing I noticed my Full Size Jimmy had no power. She quickly began to smell really bad, almost like a sulfer smell. I could only get up to 45 mph. When I finally got home, the Jimmy was smelling up the whole garage, and the exhaust was ticking very loudly and for a long time. Could it be my catalitic converter that is bad? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

    Yes, it's your catalitic converter.

You should probably figure out what it is that plugged it up, so that you can be sure that condition doesn't exist again after you spend money on a new cat.

"They tell me that you can make it to work without big tires. I'm still not convinced."
