No reverse lights, where\'s the tranny switch?

I've got a 91 that has no reverse lights. I crawled underneath to see if there was a connector that is not hooked up, but everything looked correct. Can anybody help me by telling me where this connector is on the tranny, and how I can test it to find out where the problem is?......

Yes, I already checked the fuse!

Hey, that's a thought! Where is the switch inside the column?

My column has been replaced by the previous owner due to theft. I've never thought of it, but maybe it was put together incorrectly!

Not in the column, on the outside of it, under the dash.
